Alex Witt on MSNBC just said Al was richer!
The other girl pointed out that he is giving it away...yet she persisted and said it was still in his name.:wtf:

1. Um, isn't that what the Nobel Prize IS--a bunch of money?
Edited on Fri Oct-12-07 01:04 PM by rocknation
Why is it that only Republicans "deserve" to be rich--because they're less likely to share it? Al Gore is richer? Not compared to Dick Cheney!

6. It is certainly a lot more than a "bunch of money".

2. Caught that, but before Ms. Witt could further embarass herself they cut to Anna Nichole Smith.

3. Saw that too
Looked like she was munching on a mouthful of sour grapes when she said it. Loved the way the other anchor corrected her rather than letting it go.

4. Gore is donating all of his share of the prize money
Gore plans to donate his half of the $1.5 million prize money to the Alliance for Climate Protection, a bipartisan nonprofit organization that is devoted to changing public opinion worldwide about the urgency of solving the climate crisis.

7. That Nit Witt also said that Gore is getting 1.5 million when, actually, the prize money is being
split and, as has been stated, he's magnanimusly giving 100% of his share to the cause.

That woman was so grating and phony I couldn't stand to watch for another two minutes.
She's an idiot!
