Iraq government - Blackwater must go
http://feeds.bignewsnetwork.com/?sid=289308

Strains are being felt between the Iraqi and US governments with Iraq demanding the U.S security firm Blackwater pay compensation to Iraqi families.

The Iraqi’s have also insisted the U.S end its association with Blackwater within six months.

The demands were outlined in an official report issued on Monday in Arabic.

Iraq has accused Blackwater guards of having deliberately fired on Iraqi civilians, killing 17 and injuring more than 20.

The Iraqi government has demanded Blackwater pay US$8m compensation to each family bereaved by last month's shootings.

Private security employees are immune from prosecution in Iraq, but an FBI investigation into the killings has raised the prospect of trials in the U.S.
