Rep. Westmoreland(R): Dems believe if we pull out of Iraq, that Iraqis will go back to tending sheep

http://www.kentucky.com/mld/kentucky/news/politics/16689624.htm

<snip>

"This is a global war on terror. Some people from the other side seem to believe that if we pull out of Iraq, that the Iraqi people are going to go back to tending sheep and herding goats. That's not what's going to happen. If we pull out of Iraq, what's going to happen is you are going to see more bloodshed than we have seen in a long time in this world." - Rep. Lynn Westmoreland, R-Ga.

:wtf:

4. I like this one better
"The president's plan to send more of our best and bravest to die refereeing a civil war in Iraq is wrong. It's time for a new direction in Iraq." - Rep. Patrick Murphy, D-Pa., an Iraq war veteran.

Good grief. This is exactly why idiots supported the invasion in the first place
The media didn't help. These morons really believe we invaded some land that looked like villages in "Lawrence of Arabia," and our sorry excuse for a national media did all they could to further that image. They have no freaking understanding of what they've done.

Westmoreland should go back to Georgia and sleep with her brother (Same level of clueless stereotyping).

9. Why is it that Republics
resort to these ridiculous leaps of illogic to make a point? Why don't they just say, "You're wrong and here's why..."?
