The U.S. Govt's Secret Colorado Oil Discovery scam
On line add selling stakes in the "secret Colorado Oil discovery"

Hidden 1,000 feet beneath the surface of the Rocky Mountains
lies the largest untapped oil reserve in the world — more than 2 TRILLION barrels. On August 8, 2005 President Bush mandated its extraction. Three companies have been chosen to lead the way. Test drilling has already begun...

The Next American Oil Boom

While you almost never hear anything about it in the mainstream press, I've been researching the details of America's biggest oil deposit for the past 18 months, for my monthly investment research advisory, called The S&A Oil Report.

If it's so secret, why are they advertising on the internet? http://www.stansberryonline.com/PRO/0704OILCOL49/WOILH705/200704OIL-COL-49.html

1. I can almost guarantee you they're overblowing this
And I can definitely guarantee you that there is already widespread opposition to drilling on the western slope.

3. It's oil shale I'm sure. The break even price is around $90 a barrel
if it's dry. There are mountains of it in Canada.

8. Yep.
Oil shale is expensive, obnoxious to process into something resembling fuel, and turns the countryside into a toxic moonscape. As far as I'm concerned, it's a complete non-starter as far as fuels go.

5. Yes, I posted about this last week, I think.
I don't think it's a scam, but it was pointed out that shale is very hard to use, so maybe that's why it is so "secret", and yet, and yet, methinks there is a tin-foil reason as well.
