1. A caller asked how secure is Baghdad. She had an interesting comment-What

do you mean by secure?-The military will say some it secure, but it is partitioned off-cement blochs all over the place-The people are unable to go to different parts of the city? The people really do not see it as secure.

2. A caller is really dressing her down-saying she has a liberal bias.

3. She said Maliki really has no power. Many consider it an exile government that

they do not trust. (people in power now had basically left Iraq for many years-did not live thru the horrows of SH).

This is what a REAL journalist is about...not a stenographer who reprints DOD press releases from the Green Zone or does stand ups from a well-guarded hotel balcony and reports hearsay and reports from other media. She's doing what Journalists are supposed to do and hopefully she and McClatchy will be recognized for the outstanding work they've provided from the outset of this invasion and occupation.
