Right now, it feels great to have so many choices!
The debate stage was filled with a lot of great candidates, even though there are some I hope don't get the nomination, but you have to admit, there were a lot of characters with character on stage last nite at the debates.

The worst part were the front-runners admitting they won't end the war anytime soon, even after elected! That really sucks beyond belief, and that is worthy of other discussions, but I am posting about my admiration of the others.. Ah.. Kucinich, and Richardson who seem to me to be the most honest of everyone up there, and Gravel! That guy's got stage presence! I love the way he tells it like it is! WIND POWER!!! Why can't we use wind power? I loved it!

Don't get me wrong, I like OBama for his newness, the hope for real change, I like that. Edwards, although really off, last night and kinda strange a few times, will always be one that I will be happy about. Dodd and Biden, each good and capable...but right now it feels good to know there is still a chance that it won't be narrowed down to someone who might not bring the kind of changes we'd hope for.

Maybe the idea of just plain hope is powerful enough for now.

I recall how it felt before Kerry got the nom. I really hoped for someone else. But I was so elated to find out in the end I really digged this man, this hero, this grand statesman that was so presidential. It was a good feeling.

Perhaps we should pause and think about our good feelings, if just for a moment.
