Why? So we'll get back to Iraq... that's what we've heard. The Iraq war doesn't take a recess. Are we saying that we are simply not capable of talking? That's what the U.S. Senate is about. It's based on the idea that you have to develop cooperation in order to get things done.

We missed our chance? Are we talking about scoring political points? Or are we talking about discussing what is the best policy for our troops in Iraq?"
