Yes, they think it will be peachy keen and when the dust settles they will achieve what they want to achieve. (And for those who don't know, read their white papers, world domination and control over energy markets is exactly what they want to do. Democracy is just the cover)

They also want a North American Union

The dollar is going down in value... we have not found the floor and perhaps they desire to destroy the currency

Here is where the best laid plans come in

We know what they told us 'bout Iraq... and we all know how well that worked

So if we... no rather when we attack Iran... all them plans of mice and men will go away. They cannot predict consequences. They simply can't

Yes, we have a nuclear umbrella that protects us from invading armies... but that same nuclear umbrella does not protect us from sanctions, diplomatic isolation, and recall of our debt. Nor does it protect us if perhaps everybody decides we've had it, and a full nuclear exchange happens (which will be a mutual suicide pact). Nor does it protect us if the words of revolution become real. Yep, listening to the Ed Shultz show I head a caller ask, what will it take, a revolution? And now that is in the body politic...

So there you have it...

I live in a small community (Tiburon/Belvedere, CA) that is laid-back, very liberal, and extremely wealthy (I am probably the poorest person in town).

Our Town is, for some reason, heavy with ex-Special Forces personnel (myself included). And every damned one of us agree with you 100%.

And we are ready.

And when I tell you that we are ready, I mean it in every way that you can imagine. A large group of us holds meetings about once a month.

If the shit hits the fan, we are prepared to hit back.

10. preparation is half of the battle

the most important part I might add too. I suspect there is a whole lot of us that aren't going to slink off or cow down. I don't care how scared I might get I am going to go in head first right up right now and not wait to see what happens but to make it happen. I spent 21 months at the SERE, survival, evasion, resistance escape school at warner springs california in the us navy. The survival training school on the west coast for navy seals and udt teams, combat pilots and ship commanders. I graduated from the school then they kept me on for 19 months more. I'm sure I've forgotten a lot but something tells me it'll come back as needed. Its looking more and more like we are going to have to march on washington in numbers they can't deny and demand redress on our grievances and our complaints, to demand the rule of law. I want my country back as Howard Dean so eloquently put it.
In numbers we can slay this dragon called the pnac war machine and for the future of our country we must.

I asked once on this board how far people were willing to go.

I got some who understood exactly what I meant, aka if need be lay my life so my nephews can grow up in a free country. But most folks didn't really get it

And the question most be asked, how far?

Worst case, I won't have to make that choice, since I do live in a primary target, so if we have a nuclear exchange, kiss your ass good bye will be the propper reaction, and hug the birds and my husband one last time.

I live several counties north of Tom (Lake Co).

Lots of Vietnam vets retired here, because it is really cheap for California. I'm willing to bet they are not a happy bunch, and I would not want to be on their bad side. Also, there are lots of the "want to be left alone" types here.

NB, Tom, you are always welcome here too, we have plenty of room in the back yard. If manure hits ventilator, there are tons of unoccupied vacation houses here, as well. Have nearby (in no particular order)-lake, cattle, bison, grapes, pears, strawberries, wild turkeys, deer.

I just keep hoping the PNACers will not hit Iran. I don't want to be responsible for the deaths of my own relatives, who have done nothing to harm anyone.
