Poll question: Whose comments were more unforgivable--O'Reilly, or Imus?
I'm actually curious whether Billo can survive this--it was a jaw-droppingly stupid position to take!

"Wow, Black people are actually sorta kinda civilized!" Yeesh...now, when a small child asks me what "damning with faint praise" means, I'll know whose words to point to.

1. It's ok to say racist, bigoted and sexist things even on the air....
just don't use catchy words.

The catch words are what people hear, especially when they are repeated ad nauseum. See Moveon.

2. Yes, that is for sure
Imus had made racist statements before, but without the same outrage. IMHO it is wrong to make any kind of broad generalized statement about any one group of people.
