A question for DU: "Is there anything you admire about G.W. Bush?"
I've racked my brain since the question was asked of the President of Iran last night on "60 Minutes", and I cannot honestly think of a single admirable trait. If he were my son, I would probably disown him.

10. I think much of his success can be attributed to advisors
I do think he is a fanatic not a con-man. I'm not sure that's much better, but I do know I catch hell when I suggest he might be sincere in his madness. So maybe it is.

51. Because many of us felt that the wholesale theft
of the election in the manner in which it was executed was so seditious to the process that no positive attributes, if there were any, were on the table.

Please note that this was not an attack upon your persona or your post, simply that things have changed around here a bit, IMO.

16. He's a 'good eater' according to Pickles
He gets a compliment normally reserved for toddlers. As I recall, that was the only thing good Pickles had to say about hubby. Although he gets a cookie for eating all his veggies, his table manners are demonstrably atrocious, so this is a zero-sum compliment.

20. Sometimes I feel sorry for him. If he weren't so disliked, his
little witticisms, when he makes fun of himself, would be funny under normal circumstances. I look away when people are put on the spot because I feel embarrassed for them ....... even on a TV show or in a movie. It isn't that I think he doesn't deserve what he gets but sometimes I think he'd just like to be one of the guys, hangin' around, laughing and relaxing. That may be what he'd be good at, unfortunately that isn't a criteria for being the president.

He's managed to steal 2 elections, making debts in trillions of height outbracketing all ethics while getting himself and his buddy very very much money while 300 million Americans (and some 20 Millions Iraqis) paying for it (partially with their lives). He's pressing the US dry like a sponge while ammassing power to himself almost every day. Perhaps he even was responsible for 9/11 (still under dispute i know). And he comes through with it. He's a complete dullard but he can rob, enslave and entertain the masses as the asshole he is and comes through.

I despise him but i find that remarkable.
