is about WWII.
Just started this evening on PBS.
He has focused in on personal stories
within the context the overall war.

11. My dad was a WWII vet. I cut my teeth on stories like this. Wow...that man is a powerful voice.
I've heard that a man in my state of Minnesota is featured prominently in Ken Burn's series. I wonder if that is the same man.

15. I'm just the opposite...until I was in my late 40's
I never heard anything about what my Dad did during the war. He just wouldn't talk about it. I finally found out he was at the Battle of the Bulge but not much else. Now I'll never know because he has Alzheimers. :cry:

12. A lot of WWII interviews have been made for the record. I imagine
many we saw tonight were made some time back. :shrug:
