Report from Kucinich Forum: Saw Dennis Today in California
Hi to all. I'm new to the blog and blogging but have admired Dennis for a long time.

I have good news for you- Dennis is motivating people here in California; the grassroots campaign has begun!

Today, I had the remarkable experience of getting to meet Dennis and Elizabeth in the Central Coast area of California. (Templeton, Atascadero, and San Luis Obispo- Republican/conservative areas of CA) Dennis was fantastic and the crowd loved him! He and Elizabeth were so inspiring, to the point of several people getting teary-eyed (including one 6"2" "macho" man) There was time for questions and a little mingling. The intelligence and eloquence and sense of humor) were so evident that I can't imagine any Democrat not wanting to vote for him if they truly listened and learned more about him. I ran the Kucinich table and so many people in the crowd were signing on to the Kucinich "list", donating $, and psyched up to help get Dennis elected. I believe that Dennis is THE most electible candidate because he is for the biggest change and people are ready for change. We all have to convince our friends/families to ignore the media pundits and to vote for Dennis, vote for the best candidate this time. Nancy

Many of us in Central Coast CA are very upset with our local newspaper, The Tribune, for not printing any stories or info about his being here in the last two days. They did print one small notice 5 days ago. Also, if you have Charter Cable, consider switching to DishNet which has Free Speech TV. Charter is "cutting" the show that the local public access people were making about Dennis- they had said they would air it for a month but Charter is squashing that! There may be some actions/protests coming up in reaction to the censorship of Dennis's campaign.

was overjoyed. When I was walking to the parking lot (I didn't go to the Reggae festival) I was stopped by shop workers on the way who asked me about it. (I was wearing a button.) They were so disappointed they couldn't see him and hung on every word that I was able to remember to tell them.

I hope California makes the difference for him in the primaries.

4. Don't feel badly. We had the largest demonstration outside of DC
on 9/15 and our media outlets went completely dark. What you're doing is exactly right. We have to network and post to the net.

And, I'm jealous you got to listen to Dennis!

:hi: from San Francisco

5. Yeah, our local GOP bird cage liner, The Tribune dropped the ball.
However, I was pleased that two of our local stations the NBC and CBS outlets used it as their lead story. Unfortunately, they only broadcast twice a day. I was disappointed that our local AAR affiliate didn't mention it, but that's maybe because it was the weekend.
