I can't wait until someone wins the primaries. All this Dem candidate bashing is sickening.

I don't get it. Will we pull together behind the winner or what?

I really don't give a shit if you won't vote if your candidate isn't the winner. It reminds me of when I was a kid and the one with all the baseball equipment always threatened to take it all home if he didn't get to play the position he wanted.

2. It's like this
In order to stabilize and recover from the last 8 years--this country has to take a HARD turn left.
However, many are digesting the pablum that the center is the way to go.
The problem with that is, the center is STILL Republican because we are hanging off the far right edge.
Staying in the center is still more of the same.
So it is a little more important than a baseball game analogy lends itself.

5. The country isn't going to take a hard left. It will gradually over come the last years.
Edited on Sun Sep-23-07 09:59 AM by Mountainman
I don't know how many voters there are but if a hard left candidate were the Dem nominee not enough of them would vote for him/her to win.

This is the reality of things not your view.

Your view is exactly like my baseball story.

15. This kind of rudeness is part of the problem .....
You wish to have a 'hard left turn' in american polity, and so even without any evidence to support your view (hard EMPIRICAL evidence), you are willing to browbeat and insult the other citizens in your neck of the political spectrum and shove it down their throats .....

Sorry .... I love Dennis Kucinich ..... But the polls show he has no traction above 3 % .... These polls have been consistent for years .... He has NEVER broke out .....

Why resort to the toilet/shit insults ?

9. If a "hard left" candidate can't even win the Democratic primary, how do you expect one to win...
the Presidency?

6. I'm with you. You're entitled to your candidate.
I hope I can still rummage through all the "rubbish" that's out there about all the candidates and somehow make an intelligent decision. I have more time on my hands than the average joe, so I can go to several different 'news' sources and, hopefully, get some facts filtered through all this bias. I will definitely vote, and it will be for a Democrat.

10. Some people need extreme attention. When people start threads
with their sweeping declarations of "I will never vote blah blah blah"

I shrug and think, well maybe they won't kick their dog now, or worse.

14. Yeah, but you were here last time around, and...
you know it ain't gonna stop. We've got a long way to go, but it doesn't seem quite as bd as 2004-- some of th worst offenders from back then seem to be gone.

Anyway, that Hide Thread thingy can be your best friend.
