- Drug addicts and gays will burn in hell

This afternoon, a Christian sulphur-preacher met resistance in a Saturday busy Oslo.
Carrying a megaphone and a banner, he attacked drug addicts, alcoholics, gays and other groups. The situation quickly became heated.

- It was a man with a megaphone who provoked people, says operational leader Ellen Ulvin at Oslo Police District to Dagbladet.no.

The man moved around and verbally condemned different groups in society, saying he was a former drug addict.

- It's obvious he liked to provoke people, says an eyewitness to Dagbladet.no

And people was provoked. It ended with two people jumping at him, one breaking the poster, the other taking him to the ground, says another eyewitness.

Civil guards tried to calm the situation. After a while, several police patrols arrived.

- The man was not arrested, but the equipment confiscated and he was told to leave the area, says operational leader Ulvin. - Nobody was hurt, she adds.

Mr. Vebjørn Selbekk.
His last battle with freedom of speech before publishing those was when the Swedish pastor Åke Green was banned from calling gays 'a cancer on society' from pulpits in the Swedish state church, and also went to prison for a month for hate speech. Fred Phelps was also involved back then, and went to Sweden and came up with this charming webpage.
Selbekk wrote back then that he wanted to promote Åke Green to this years name in Christianity.
I investigated a bit in mr. Selbekk's rag Magazinet after the cartoon debacle and found out by simple searching that the search term 'homo' returned almost as many hits as the term 'jesus' on their web. Ah well.
