Should countries that manufacture the AK-47 get attacked by the USA too?
I mean, since the argument is being formed that Iran should be attacked because some IED's being used against the U.S. are manufactured in Iran, doesn't that logic also require that the U.S. should attack:
  • China
  • Albania
  • Bulgaria
  • Egypt
  • Hungary
  • North Korea
  • Poland
  • Romania
  • Russia
  • Yugoslavia
Those are countries that have all been involved with the manufacturing of the AK-47 (and variants of it) being used in Iraq by insurgents against the USA.

Also, while we're at it, why don't we attack all the nations supplying the ammunition being used by the insurgency - afterall, supplying the ammunition is almost like a direct attack against us!! Isn't that right, Mr. President?

Let's not stop there! What about all those nasty RPG's?

What countries manufacture that weapon, and why isn't Bush invading them?

(END OF :sarcasm:)

When does this slippery bullshit slope of insanity stop with the Bush Administration? Can you tell me that?

The hypocrisy of this nation knows no bounds.

7. Isn't it bizarre? I mean, all the weapons being used against US forces came from SOMEWHERE.
Yet, they pick this one type of Iran manufactured weapon and are making a fuss out of it.

What about all the other weapons killing our soldiers?

The answer to that is probably something the U.S. Gov't doesn't want to talk about because a lot of those weapons are manufactured by our "allies".

3. ...Didn't Iraq have its own licensed factory too?
I suppose it's not on the list anymore because it hasn't been actively manufacturing since, er, 2003...

5. Great point.
Also, there's nothing stopping individual Iranians from bring anything into Iraq. That doesn't mean it's the Iranian government behind it. Hell, most of the 911 hijackers where living in Florida before they attacked--is Jeb Bush to blame?

8. Should the U.S. Gov't attack Boeing in Seattle, since that was the manufacturer of
the planes used on 9/11?

Of course not. It's stupid.

Think about it - by this logic, every nation on the planet should attack the USA - because we are the LARGEST weapons manufacturing nation in the world. Hands down.

This is schizphrenic reasoning at best.

6. Yes
We should just attack every country that produces these weapons.
The U.S. produces nuk-you-luhr weapons, so we should attack that country too.
