Go to a forum, dammit!

This is my call out to DUers and others who care:

Go to a political forum!

Go to an appearance by a Senator, or a Representative, or a state level politician, or a former politician! Go to a city council meeting. Go to a town hall.

Go and speak out!

Ask loud rambling questions.... wave your arms... be passionate about our democracy and have no shame for it!

Ask about 9-11 or secret societies or space aliens. Ask about impeachment or torture or war crimes. Ask things that will make the squishy passive viewers in the audience squirm and moan. Lecture. Get mad.

As the forum ends yell "what about AIDS!" from the back of the room. Or demand that the speaker recite the Declaration of Independence. Or start chanting about Karl Rove.

Making an ass of one's self at a political forum is in the eye of the beholder. Often the real ass is at the podium.

So find a forum near you soon. And go. And be a pain in the ass. Be passionate! Be angry. Be involved.

Never let them shut you up. Never.
