I feel bad for John Kerry
Every time he gets on a roll, giving speeches, doing interviews, there is always an unfortunate incident that plagues him soon after. Last time it was "the botched joke," this time it's the taser incident. He has rotten luck in that regard.

1. He should have said something
to answer the guys question, while he's being tazered, as if he didn't even see it, looked really bad.

3. He did, read a bit more there are a hundred threads on the subject
and one with his response, also there are tapes which proves he tried to do something and wanted to answer the questions.

2. It's called purposeful character assasination. Kerry is and has been an effective advocate
for the Left, the Constitution, Open Govt. and America.

Hence, there's always been a smear machine geared for Kerry.

And a lot of disgruntled Democrats who are happy to pile on.

sabotage! The "botched joke" was from the right and this was initiated by lefty conspiracy nuts. Look around the board at all the jackass comments: "Pet Goat Moment" (evidently the guy was a national security threat and the nation was at risk if his question wasn't answered to their satisfaction).

Kerry is one of the most outspoken critics of the Bush administration, the wingnuts can't stand that. The lefties are pissed and confused: he lost, he won, he's Republican, impeach Bush, he's a hero, do something, he's a wimp, shut up, speak up, he's powerful, he's over. Yeah, seriously confused.

6. Yeah, well, Bonesmen pretty much expect it, I suspect...
Unfortunately, he couldn't care less whether or not he legitimately lost the election, or whether or not his membership in Skull and Bones are issues that people are going to ask him about.

Yeah, he's so unlucky that he seems to have no issue with people asking these kind of questions being tasered.

9. Evidently that;s untrue as his statement earlier shows.
And ifKerry was Skull and Bones the way some THINK he is, he would have been president long ago as the path would have been paved with gold for him to do so.

He has always chosen the more difficult paths - like uncovering more government corruption than any lawmaker of the last 30 years.

Like advocating AGAINST CLOSED GOVERNMENT that protects the secrecy and privilege of the powerful.

Please name another lawmaker in DC today who has EXPOSED the corruption and crimes of office of the powerful more than Kerry has - you know - someone who never even went to Yale.

8. This has been happening to him since Nixon WH. Few lawmakers have ever had three decades
of operatives agitating against them in an effort to stop them and silence their voice.

It was actually WORSE for Kerry during Reagan and Bush1 because he was pretty much on his own uncovering IranContra and BCCI and condemned for doing so by both parties and entire DC powerstructure.

Uncovering illegal wars in Central America and CIA drugrunning didn't make establishment any fonder of Kerry and stories were often planted to take him down. Operatives even tried to set up Kerry's staff as drugrunners and tried to plant stories against staff, too.

The RW can always rely on underinformed lefties they can manipulate and agitate against Kerry, too.

11. His enemies spent the 80s and 90s buying control of media.
Fer chrissakes, Dan Rather got rolled over - and now HE wants to start an independent media because he knows the score and who is in control of what was once HIS field.
