In this Chronicle Radio interview with Chronicle media writer Joe Garofoli, former Vice President Al Gore and business partner Joel Hyatt talk about how they hope winning the prestigious Emmy Award turns into a big boost for their fledgling television network Current TV.

The San Francisco-based Current TV, which shows videos created by viewers, was awarded an Emmy Sunday night for creative achievement in interactive television.

In the podcast, Gore and Hyatt also hint at future plans for Current TV.

1. Just as an aside

He was very comfortable in this talk, until of course "that" question came up. He doesn't seem like he even wants to talk about it, said it was an honor to be nominated, but... Otherwise very good podcast about the future of Current and the abiity of Americans to access that two way dialogue.
