Kerry fought for his country -- and then is brazenly slandered as undeserving of his medals
Edited on Tue Sep-18-07 02:44 PM by brentspeak
An ex-intern of Kerry's travels to Africa -- and a bogus rumor crops up that he had affair with her.

Some weird, publicity-seeking/practical-jokester college kid goes berzerk at one of Kerry's speaking events -- and Kerry gets brazenly slandered as the one who's somehow responsible for the fracas between the kid and the campus police.

Does John Kerry have the words "Smear Me" tattooed on his forehead?

1. Yeah, Randi is pissing me off, too
She got the feed from CNN and they cut the video to make Kerry look bad. She hasn't seen the full video.

7. Not many
And they will scream and rant and rave about the EVIL EVIL COPS, without realizing the kid was there intentionally stirring up crap.

2. The Re-Pukes unveiled their game plan years ago.
Smear and lies -- that's all they have to back them up. I truly don't understand how Americans have gotten so shallow and stupid.

4. And he didn't speak up then either...
Nor did he speak up when the election was stolen. Thanks for the reminder that this is not just an isolated incident, it's a pattern of behavior (or lack thereof) on his part. When we need him the most, he never speaks up. Or at least not loudly and forcefully.

6. The fact of the matter is that the people slandering the kid,
are the ones who are slandering Kerry. But those people will do anything to stake out a brand new position.

8. blame the cops
they were the ones who grabbed this guy for asking a question. In lieu of restraining him, 6 cops felt the need to taser him. If 6 police officers cannot restrain someone without tasering them, they have no business being cops.

Typical behavior of the University of Florida

9. Unless he's the police chief, why would he be to blame?
I love Randi, but she's way off base directing her anger towards Senator Kerry.

What happened was a gross misjustice towards the student involved, who didn't seem to be any sort of a threat. But the blame lies solely upon the Gainesville/University of Florida police department. Senator Kerry was nothing but a bystander to all of this.

11. I Love & respect John Kerry, and wonder why people trash him
He's been through enough and he's a war hero; so leave him to Hell alone. This is nonsense. We don't need swiftboaters in the Democratic Party.
