House Minority Leader John Boehner Again Insults The Memory Of Troops Lost In Iraq

Posted September 15, 2007 | 02:16 PM (EST)

It's pretty clear that Crying John Boehner's most recent inane statement dismissed the sacrifices made by our troops in Iraq. He labeled almost 4,000 deaths and thousands upon thousands of physical injuries, cases of psychological trauma and numerous suicides among active military--a result of being lied into war by his party and it's contributors--a "small price."

Well, of course, that depends upon who's doing the paying. And it's never chickenhawks like Boehner, Bush, Cheney, McConnell, Giuliani, DeLay, Thompson, Gingrich, O'Reilly, Hannity and America's newest Partridge Family, The Traveling Romneys!

No, they let the riff-raff do their fighting for them while they sip brandy and eat mini-crab rangoon appetizers at parties thrown by war profiteers.

Now Boehner is insulting our troops all over again, not apologizing about what he said, but brazenly lying and hoping nobody will notice. Boehner's claiming that he was only talking about the "money" involved in the war, and not the lost lives.

Not only is that obviously a lie. But I guess he means the gazillions spent in Iraq, and not on levees in New Orleans or bridges in Minneapolis or catching Osama bin Laden--so more Americans can needlessly die on his watch--is no biggie.

Well I guess it's not...For him.

2. Great slogan embedded in that article:
"(The price of War) depends upon who's doing the paying."

3. It's what republicans have become- war loving - troop hating scumbags.
