Thursday, September 13, 2007

An ad by the antiwar MoveOn.org that criticized Gen. David Petraeus on the eve of his congressional testimony “was wrong,” Sen. Ken Salazar, D-Colo., said Wednesday.

Salazar, whose 2004 Senate campaign garnered $4,000 from MoveOn.org, said the ad was “inappropriate” and “sent the wrong message.”

Petraeus testified to Congress this week about the state of the military effort in Iraq, including the surge. "

7. We’re heading down the same path as we did in ‘04....
Instead of embracing the likes of Michael Moore and Cindy Sheehan, -people who actually held Bush’s feet to the fire, democrats are going to try to distance themselves from truth tellers. ...It’s sickening.
