outraged and depressed- need some happy talk.

Got any?

The crazy psychopath announced that we are now Strategic partners with the Iraqi government, and will stay there forever... and this morning the goddamned media shitheads are blathering on about Moveon's ad and the NYT, how the petulant monkey was pissed that his General du Jour was insulted. Great. The media campaign to legitimize the splurge has had some (limited) results; Chimpy's poll numbers on Iraq have climbed 6 or so points in a month.

How can this silver-spoon imbecile get away with this? Who or what the hell can stop this craziness?

1. Who are what the hell can stop this craziness?
Only us. We, the people.

2. It's going to take something beyond our control
The Congress doesn't listen to us. The Nincompoop in charge doesn't listen to anybody except maybe Cheney. It may take a REAL act of god-which is something I don't believe in.

4. No pills or delusions to make you smile and nod.
We need as many conscious people as possible, else all is truly lost.

Re Polls: Easy enough to rig, don't put too much stock in them.

5. I feel the outrage too....we're doomed to more death of soldiers
and astronomical debt to pass on to our children. With the media and poll numbers, what do we DO?
I don't think we can wait to the '08 election and with crossed fingers hope the next president can magically get the U.S. back. But we kept the powder dry...I'm so glad. :sarcasm: Without enough time and not enough votes, gracious, what else COULD we do?:sarcasm: The advice of Bruce Fein should have been taken. Thanks for posting. K&R

7. It's Friday!
Bush gets pissy and petulant if someone doesn't get him a ham sandwich fast enough. He's a nasty little man. We won't be in Iraq forever. A Democrat will be in the White House before too long, and will start troop withdrawal from Iraq. Chimpy's poll numbers have climbed because of the onslaught from the MSM fawning over General Betrayus. As far as the MoveOn ad, that was so on the money that its no wonder the facists are ticked off. Considering the NYT has had so many "journalists" doing free advertising for the war and dear leader, I don't know what the tighty righties are whining about. Bush won't get away with this. Even if he's not booted via impeachment, he still has to go back to "civilian" life and will either have to face We The People, or live in a bubble for the rest of his miserable, useless life.
