Humberto is now officially a Hurricane
Geez, that was fast and totally unexpected....Fortunately it's probably going to make landfall soon in a fairly sparsely populated area (TX/LA border)

8. It may be sparsely populated, but they are still recovering from Rita.
Edited on Thu Sep-13-07 06:04 AM by lady of texas
I know Katrina made all the news, but Rita did terrible damage to this area and it's been just as slow a recovery as LA. and beyond. Cameron parrish was all by wiped out, Sabine Pass was destroyed. Rita, the forgotten hurricane.

10. Hurricane
This one really ducked in under the radar. The weather guessers blew it.
