Poll question: Can we Guess the GOP Ratio regarding Embarrassment/Shame that they voted for Bush not once but 2x
If we were to analyze the Average Republican mind...young and old, of all stripes and colors, etc....

How many are ASHAMED and EMBARRASSED that they support W.

Some are so ashamed they left the Party and are mostly Independents

Some have an aversion to CRow....thus hold their position risking credibility by using any means at hand including BS

I hope I'm not confusing you

1. I'm confused
but then that's the norm for me these days.

I think the embarassment level is high - but GOPers won't admit it, they won't take responsibility for their embarassment and it's Clinton's fault, the media's fault, the Democratic party's fault and the liberals' fault

2. 0% of either. They're just inconvenienced, electability-wise.
They'd have to have principles to be either ashamed or embarrased.

4. I've even heard
the "rationale" that Saddam probably had WMD's but that they were moved or hidden, and THAT's why they voted for * the second time! * is an embarrassment, but they can somehow rationalize their votes. Also, Iraq is a disaster not because we had no business going in there in the first place, but because we're not "winning". And regarding Republicans, they simply want a "better" Republican.

14. More of the same shit
I'm afraid. How many have become true Indies, and how many are merely "distancing" themselves and calling themselves "Independents", or worse, "Libertarians"? I say worse for them because I'm sick to death of hearing claims of, "I'm a Libertarian!" from people who have voted Repub for the last six election cycles or more. That's not Libertarianism, that's hypocrisy!

5. Since about a third of the Republicans I know have disavowed him

(but still have no love for the Dems, unfortunately) I picked the 20% bracket. I'm sure they're slightly more reasonable than the average Republican box o' rocks.

8. My brother in law has all of Ann Coulter's book and even he has turned on Bush
and thinks it may be time for the Dems to run things for a while.

15. I've heard of that too
by neocon snakes like Richard Viguerie, of all people. A lot of these people want to regroup and come back with a vengeance in 2012. Basically, they want to "Carterize" the Dem president.

9. They ALL should be ashamed,
but since many of them are sociopaths I doubt they feel anything.
