3. I saw Betrayus's lips moving but all I heard were
war drums beating for Iran and Syria.

6. Isn't weird how they never mention
who Iran's weapons supplier is? Are they too ascared to say China? If they want to take on Syria , there's about a million or so new residents there that would probably love to kick some American ass about now.

7. Nice campaign fodder for freepers, don't you think?
They'll be debating this in the election instead of health care, campaign reform, education...

It'll make them look strong. Dumb, but strong.

8. Sad but true:
We LOST Iran, back in the late '70's. Our Boy, the Shah of Iran got kicked out. We LOST our oil, our connections, everything.

Instead those folks in Iran have been under religious control ever since. It drives the oil company into babbling idiots who sit there and talk to no one in particular, and have foam hanging out of their mouths.

We have NEVER gotten over the loss of Iran. Never.

9. Iran was part of it but
this is what fucked us and why we're where we're at right now

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1973_oil_crisis

The price of EVERYTHING sky rocketed, you could not buy a job, and the price of gas was almost the lowest since then right before we invaded Iraq.
