6. I wonder if there is full monitoring of the island of Greenland?
In the E/E forum there have been stories that the melting and shifting of the ice cap is causing earthquakes of magnitude ~3.0 on a frequent basis.

7. Andreanof island top left has an active volcano. The one in the center
of the US is probably the southern part of the New Madrid fault. If that one cuts loose, all hell would break loose.

The last time it did, a section of the Mississippi ran backwards

1812 quake


1896 damage map. the 1896 quake was much smaller than the 1812 quake
