Open each one of these videos in separate windows, then play them side by side. The voices are 100% not compatible in any way. That is just one proof. The new video is an engineered version of the first (2004) video.
And not a very well done one either. There are obvious places where the video jerks as they change hand motions. Watch the hands in the 2007 version. They rarely move in the first half and they rarely rest in the second half. Strange. There are many instances of duplication between the two videos that can't be just chance.

In the 2007 video, a still picture of bin Laden is displayed for about 3/4 of the tape. Then there is some movement and then the video reverts back to the first still picture. Rewind the tape at this point to see the ending still is the same as the beginning still.

This is so poorly done, it is ludicrous that our government authenticated it as real.

1. I agree with you. I mean, couldn't these people get hold of any technology?
Some way to have a clear picture and clear voice? I don't believe they can't. They have access to huge amts of money from Saudi Arabia and other Arab sources. Who knows? Maybe even from Washington D.C. I don't trust this administration as far as I could throw a spitball.

2. What the government didn't explain is that it was
authenticated by the same people who produced it. It's one of the few products these days 100% made in the USA.

4. fake:why wouldn't they use a digital camera ? the image should
clear and digital is easily posted on the net..even from Bora Bora or the Cairo Hilton or wherever he is.

It's deteriorating old video tape that's being recycled every now and then.
