Lexington Ky Anti War Rally Pictures. Keep kicked so
Those I told that their pictures would be on this site can see them. They will probably have to go to the link below.
I just made this page.

We had a good turn out and real good response. This was part of Iraq Summer. We had rallies all over Ky. What you see here is the end of a 24 hour vigil. At the end we read off the names of the Kentucky dead. It was so sad. It was the first time I've cried in a long time.

5. I was handing them out on the street. People were popping their trunks
so I can put them in. I gave out about 20 that way. It was a heady experience.

18. thank you.
The organizers of that rally are in Berea Ky to confront Sen McConnell. There's no holiday for them. They are working day and night for an end to the war.

Alfalfa, one of my favorite eateries.

10. You should Their soups are excellent.
Brunch features something called a Pancake Sandwich. It is two big whole wheat blueberry buckwheat pancakes. There's sausage between them. Butter and syrup is provided. Try the cinnamon coffee.

They've been around for over 30 years, and for good reason.

17. Yes. I've known Gene for a good 30 years. Natasha was a teacher in
the Ukraine. Gene was there looking for items for an earlier business when he met her.

He used to be a fixture at Alfalfa.

They are in full support of progressive causes.

Another progressive cafe is Third Street Stuff. That's right up Limestone from you.

I know I need to check out Third Street, but I'd feel like I'm cheating on CG.

In fact, in the last picture, I'm the fellow in the background with the black t-shirt and Chuck Taylors... They had excellent speakers there, though I wish the crowd had been a bit bigger... The closing ceremony where we read the dead soldiers' names and ages was really touching...
