am I the only person who find the Vytorin ads unsettling?

The gestalt is rather nightmarish: the music is something out of a fever dream...short cadences with peculiar resolutions; the colors are out of one of those experimental films of the 1960's - or outer space, weird pastels with effusions of variegated intensity, including offensive oranges and yellow-reds; faces out of the old Thriller TV show, really scary and sick - all repressed somethings; VERY ODD parodies of food/faces and dress - sort of a metamorphosis of food to humanity - you are what you eat/look like. Disease/appearance.

Haunting...not what I need at dinner...but really, no worse than the hemorrhoid ads or feminine hygiene ads which also run during dinnertime. No wonder ratings are down.
