CBS: Bush has only visited Crawford 4 times this year, compared to 17 in 2004

<snip>

Part of the problem is that the hero isn't so local any more. CBS Radio's veteran White House correspondent Mark Knoller, who has kept an informal record of the presidents sojurns to his 1,600-acre ranch, Mr. Bush has only visited four time so far this year, compared to 17 times in all of 2004.

3. Time to send the "rented cows" either home or to the market.
The damn thing was built in 1999 with Enron over seeing the construction.

6. exactly...
the "ranch" was part of the costume.

They're realizing that they don't need to pretend as much anymore.

Anyone who thinks that Bush--an elitist, Kennebunkport snot-nosed punk--liked "clearing the brush"
needs to climb back onto the turnip truck.

Note to America--the guy you so wanted to have a beer with--is now drunk on his own self-mandated,
unConstitutional power--and he's swerving across America at 150 mph.

That's because he goes to Kennebunkport instead....so Daddy can handle everything now.
(Time to clean up Junior's mess again. )

Have you noticed how many leaders have recently visited Kennebunkport ...instead of Crawford?

Junior can vacation anywhere....as long as there is someone nearby to handle his presidency.

11. Sell It as Quick as They Bought It
Wasn't there a story going around that they only bought the place a week or two before the 2000 election so he could have a 'Reagan' place to make him look like a cowboy? They'll probably put it on the market within days of 1/20/09 and we'll finally get a look at the little palace on the prairie. It's no quaint ranch house, that's for certain. I wouldn't be surprised if it winds up being owned by the Carlyle Group because it's dollars to donuts that GWB will wind up on the board of that organization just like dear ol' Dad.

Gov. George W. Bush finalized the purchase of ranch land near Crawford in McLennan County on Monday - and the small Central Texas town is bracing for change. For weeks, rumors have swirled through the town, a half-hour's drive west of Waco, that Mr. Bush, the leading Republican presidential contender, was negotiating to buy as many as 1,500 acres of land near a tributary of the Middle Bosque River. The governor's office refused to disclose the size of the purchase, but

8. Poor guy. Wouldn't it be nice if we could arrange for him to be in Crawford permenantly?
Or the Crawford jail maybe? So he doesn't accidentally walk out of town?
