Is there a good (progressive) company to give my cell phone business to?
Edited on Fri Aug-17-07 04:14 PM by Flarney
Are there any good communications companies out there I can give my money to instead of Verizon, AT&T, etc? My Verizon contract is up in a month and I'd like to try to take my business to a socially responsible company. Thanks!

Edit: Does anyone have any experience with Working Assets? http://www.workingassetswireless.com/

4. I use Working Assets. .
They're fine, if a little low tech and heavy on the paper use.. (They do sometimes give out free Ben & Jerry's!!)

5. I too need this info. I left Cingular because the company merged
with the spy-by-Bush-affiliates AT&T and damned if the latter didn't up and buy South Central Bell. I think Americans should divest themselves of AT&T. But what is out there please?

Been with them for 4 years now. Their phones can be a little behind the times, but they aren't antiquated. Their Customer Service is wonderful and the people are all in California, so they mainly speak English.

I love them. We just signed up for another 2 year contract so that we could get my husband a phone and have the family plan. Rates are comparable to other companies, too, from what I've seen.

I don't think I'll ever switch. I also have my home long distance with them and I got the Visa card, too.

Edited to add: They rent the Sprint network so you don't have too many problems with roaming. I've been to a lot of places in the country and never had a problem. In fact, we were in the "high desert" to the east of LA and my brother's phone didn't work and mine did.
