The Next Bad Decision They're Bound To Make
It's been suggested that it's a wag the wedding moment. How can the spinners at the WH resist, everyone loves a wedding. But while we're being treated to the sumptuousness of a republicon royal wedding, with how much Jenna's dress costs, how many quests are invited to dine on quail, which yacht they'll honeymoon on, soldiers will still being dying in Iraq, children will still be going to bed hungry, and those who don't have health care will still not be able to afford their meds. Another lead balloon for a country that can't stand any of them any more.

1. A Bush wedding WILL be a lead balloon

If they have some fantasy that the whole world will tune in to watching this crew of two-bit criminals marry off their daughter to Karl Rove's former aid, they are in for a surprise.

* will be drunk, Pickles will be wearing the curtains, and I can't even imagine what the guest list will look like.

This is a far cry from Nixon's daughter marrying Eisenhower's son. And we thought THAT was tacky!

Edit to correct details - I just can't keep track of the details of Republican family weddings!

3. These Folks Favor Quail
It sounds exotic and rich to them. I've wondered, as they crunch those tiny bones, if it isn't a metaphor for what they've done to the country, the sauce which gives added flavor to the meal.

It's Rove's aide, do you think even he would let his son marry their daughter. *'s brain is no genius but he's not dumb.

12. Small correction
It was Julie Nixon who married Eisenhower's grandson David. And they are still married after almost 40 years. Who will bet on Jenna accomplishing that?

15. Sorry - corrected!
I'm not even sure that Jenna's wedding to whats-his-name will really take place - no, I wouldn't bet on it lasting 40 years, either!

lacing the guests with buckshot.

And his handlers having to rescue the bride's father after he chokes on a fried pork rind or falls down after his 20th shot of bourbon.

Great fun.

A sappy, sweet interlude in a two-term nightmare (three, including Gerry Ford).

media from gushing over Tricia Nixon's rose garden wedding to Ed Cox, and I can't imagine the Bush Crime Family not pulling out all the stops to top it. Jenna probably religiously watches those cable shows that feature elaborate weddings and "bridezillas." No way will the chimp family be able to resist an over-the-top wedding circus that leaves the taxpayers footing the bill.
