Just watched "Death of a President" last night
If you haven't seen this movie, I would highly recommend it. I don't know if it's available through Blockbuster or not, I got mine through Netflix. The movie portrays the assassination of Bush and its aftermath. Watching the movie just intensified my feelings towards this administration that much more, it's very realistic in its portrayal. After the assassination, a Muslim man is arrested with very scant evidence. The new Cheney administration tries desperately to pin this man to Syria; when that fails, they associate him with Al Qaeda, and he is quickly convicted with scant evidence, and is sentenced to death. Later on, when it becomes clear that another person was responsible for the assassination, and the Muslim guy was completely innocent, the administration refuses to acknowledge its mistake.

One of the more chilling parts of the movie is that after the assassination, Congress unanimously approves "Patriot Act III", giving the executive branch unparalleled powers. Something tells me that probably wouldn't be too far from the truth of what would happen.
