4. I can imagine back when Pete protested...

Our involvement in Viet Nam, he hoped and prayed he'd never have to do that for the same kind of conflict again in his life. It's a sad kettle of fish, indeed, that he does need to do it--all over again.

As for "what if?" of a draft, he'd probably be protesting--and singing--in front of about 25,000 if one were in effect. It's bad enough, however, that many of those who volunteered for service are now on their fourth or fifth TDY. That in itself makes up for the lack of a draft. And I know it's a big reason Pete is out there, at it again. Thank God for people like Pete--folks with a conscience; the TRUE patriots!

5. There is peace rally every Saturday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 PM in Beaver, PA .

The rally has taken place every Saturday since the 2003 Iraq invasion. On some Saturdays, there are close to a dozen participants. On other Saturdays, there are only as few. The rally takes place on the sidewalk in front of the county courthouse. A good percentage of the passing motorists honk in support of the rally. A smaller number of a motorists react in the opposite manner. If any DUer's in the Beaver County, PA, area have the time to spare on any upcoming Saturday afternoon, your presence at the rally would be most appreciated.
