Now that I have your attention, I'd like to tell you that in the video forum is the greatest speech of this generation by a man who is doing more to stop this war than anyone.

His name is Ehrin Watada and he has chosen to accept court martial rather than betray his country by serving in an illegal war.

The speech is 40 minutes but you will not forget it ever.

Currently Rosie O'Donnel on the view has received more recommendations and 3 times as many views.

This is why the war continues.

It is WE who are failing to stop the war. And it is evident why when you see how easily distracted we all are.

PLEASE watch the video. If I was wrong about it being the greatest speech of my generation, I will apologize individually to each one of you who can tell me so.

That's like stopping what I'm doing to watch a couple of tv shows...not gonna happen during the day. Is there a synopsis or transcript? Or excerpts of key points? I trust you that it is compelling and important, but 40 minutes? Yikes.

A transcript would not exactly convey the whole thing, but you can look at the Watada website which is linked from there.

Quick little snips you can check out and get back to work, but a 40 minute vid requires actually taking a break, and I usually don't have the time during the day unless it's sloooow...which isn't today.
