Monica Goodling Testifies

C-Span is doing the nation a great service this week in that they are reairing each of the Congressional hearings related to the US Attorney firings.

When asked about her job of picking out employees who were suitably devoted to her President she allowed that if one of her picks had underlings they would particularly like to bring with them to their new job she felt there was a 'rule' that would allow it. She said:

"I thought it was a good rule so I tried to enforce it"

It makes on wonder how she treated rules she didn't care for.
