LURKERS with no DU accounts: We can force Bush and Cheney to resign with a no confidence vote.
Edited on Tue Aug-07-07 08:23 AM by liberaldemocrat7
I hope we can force Bush to resign by showing no confidence in Bush and Cheney with a simple peaceful phone campaign to Bush's contributors of money by calling them and saying we won't buy your products until Bush and Cheney resigns.
The following companies give money to the Republican Party:
Dell Computers, Walmart, Wendy's, Outback Steak House, Dominos Pizza, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Eckerd, CVS and Walgreens, Curves for women health clubs, General Electric, Exxon/Mobil, Aetna Insurance Co. and Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance Co.
Call them and each call appears a no confidence vote about Bush and Cheney. The more "votes" the more chance they will have to resign. These companies cannot afford to get thousands of phone calls from people who will stop doing business with them.
If it appears good enough to bring down the South African government peacefully in the 1990's I consider it good enough to bring down this government with a no confidence vote.
5. What Bush's friends can't afford is someone else actually enforcing laws.
And creating regulations that fall right into their own hands. Once Bush leaves, they run that risk, especially if you're talking about getting both Bush and Cheney to resign, leaving power in the hands of Nancy Pelosi. There is no way in hell they'd want that to happen.
8. It's Gonna Take Boycotts of Blackwater & Haliburton
Yep...be sure not to hire any Blackwater security agents or, on your next drilling in a national park, find another company other than Haliburton...
If wishes were horses these people would have honor...all they care about is profit and over the past 6 years, while the vast majority of Americans saw their incomes and savings decline, these people and their stockholders and other corporate buddies have made billions. As the old business saying goes, when one person loses money, someone else is making it. Those who are making it are the biggest benefactors to this regime...and you expect them to be "honorable"?
I'm firmly in favor of both the House & Senate resolutions for a two-fold purpose. First and foremost to make a statement at this time of document the lying and abuses of the Constitution by this regime and force Repugnicans to go on record for their support of the crimes committed. The other side is to show this country how callous and myopic the Repugnicans are to the crimes this regime's committed...and to see to what extent they'll defend this regime...putting power and profit over the common good and the Constitution. Yes, these people DON'T know or care what is right...they're too arrogant and ignorant to care.
12. Well if any people living outside the US reads this I encourage you to stop buying those products

made by the friends of the Republican party as named in the original post. Organize a telephone campaign in your country to call those companies that have franchises or places that sell their products and say, we won't buy your products until Bush and Cheney resign.
but what if it is so easy that it becomes a better option than the massive fraud without defections or challenges, granting that the Bush selected candidates run as predicted? They may THINK they can pull off another fraud or ruin another Clinton presidency, but how about another option?
Cheney goes. Another charismatic crony Veep is chosen. Bush goes. Voila, the installation of a Bush puppet in all its glory. No criminal investigations, no threatening impeachment. And STILL the option of screwing things up in November with the new GOP President or another candidate giving them options and flexibility to continue the agenda.
Sounds so good I am afraid to ask them to resign. But this is where pride meets fear. Letting go at all is the ultimate defeat, the sign for everyone to plunge in or shove the dynasts aside. Gingrich will rise like some Lovecraftian leviathan from the subterranean conservative decaying underworld. No, even though they can parlay the resignations into a swift controllable advantage they cannot contemplate trying, having waded more than halfway into Macbeth's sea incarnadine. The future, the state, the GOP, c'est moi, says Cheney. Et me aussi, chirps Junior.
Fred Thompson becomes POTUS, chooses Jeb. Or a Cheney op or someone deep in their pocket as a place setter. Shadow government does the work. He or Romney run as POTUS in the general. Thompson collapses in office. Jeb in.
