LOU DOBBS CHYRON: "Are liberal elites trying to undermine the US?"
I was at the gym and the had CNN on. I didn't have a radio, so I couldn't hear what they were saying, but the chyron was up under the whole segment.

That's a pretty Fox News like move for him.

If he had said "neoliberal" at least that would be accurate even if misleading to laymen.

But it would be more accurate to ask are FINANCIAL elites trying to undermine America.

1. Hey Lou! I'm fucking poor
and yet I'm a Liberal. We aren't all "elite" you fucking dumbass. Most of us are working stiffs who just want a better life than we have now, be it financially or whatever. And I have met some so called Liberal elites. They were not all that much different than me, except for the finances. Otherwise, we believe in the same things. Shut the fuck up Dobbs!

given his blessing as long as they don't make the white men with whom they're attached look bad or anything.

Single women and non white anyone else are out of luck, I'd guess.

He's as much a coporomediast as the rest of them.

edit, for spelling

4. I've met Lou Dobbs.
He frequents a bookstore I used to work at. Every time I saw him, he was friendly and talkative with all kinds of people, employees and customers. That would include black, white, Hispanic people.

Here's a snippet from a recent NYT editorial by David Leonhardt.

The problem with Mr. Dobbs is that he mixes opinion and untruths.

He is the heir to the nativist tradition that has long used fiction and conspiracy theories as a weapon against the Irish, the Italians, the Chinese, the Jews and, now, the Mexicans.

There is no denying that this country’s immigration system is broken.

But it defies belief — and a whole lot of economic research — to suggest that the problems of the middle class stem from illegal immigrants.

5. That segment on Lou Dobbs was total BS. Lou mentioned..........

that the conservative elites additionally have undermined this country. The neocon shill that wrote the book has ZERO credibility IMO.
Lou Dobbs is the ONLY voice for the working middle class of America; that means YOU!

10. Undermine the US? According to the book of Dobbs no other humans are worthy of having a
job or any success in international business. And of course if they do and it involves anything with a company that has business in America or selling any goods or services to America then they are of course "stealing" from someone.

Making the world a smaller closer more connected place is not undermining the US.

13. Drat! Curses! Lou found me out
I thought I was being so clever trying to undermine the US but Lou was more clever than I.. Thought that thing that looked like a black bowling ball with a fuse on it would pass for a bowling ball... Maybe it was my black trench coat and black hat that gave me away.

14. Coincidentally, I happed to be subjected to that at the gym too.
The kicker was that the interview was preceded by breaking news that Bush was invoking executive privilege to prevent Rove from testifying.

We have one sorry-ass motherfucking liberal elite in the U.S. if they can't muster the tiniest bit of Congressional oversight for such a radically conservative president.
