Democratic Senate Votes To Expand Warrantless Surveillance
that's right folks our fearless leaders gave the lying shit gonzales power over over lives last nite.

The Senate bowed to White House pressure last night and passed a Republican plan for overhauling the federal government's terrorist surveillance laws, approving changes that would temporarily give U.S. spy agencies expanded power to eavesdrop on foreign suspects without a court order.

1. Why is it that a Republican majority can do WTF they want?
And when we have a majority, the Republcians still get to do whatever the fuck they want? It's making me add credence to the idea that there's only one party in US politics.

9. I wrote a scathing letter to my Democrat Senator , Bill Nelson of FL
letting him know how disgusted I am with his vote to expand these powers. I also wrote:
Senate Dems blink...give Bush his spy bill.

Senate Dems blink...give him his Iraq funding.

Senate Dems blink...no timetable.

Senate Dems blink...at everything they promised last November.

Senate Dems will blink repeatedly when they wake up at the NEXT election as private citizens.

Well folks, once again, it doesn't really matter what we the people want, it's only what the prez and Congress wants. I guess our only hope for this right now is the House. Will they cave too?
