3. As I written before, he was fragged, for he was to ENTHUSIASTIC.

Enthusiasm kills people in combat, and I suspect people in his unit feared his enthusiasm and thus he was killed. They destroyed his diary to protect themselves (or someone else in the unit). That is ALL to his death. Now hid death was covered up, first by his unit, then by people higher up for they did NOT want it out he was fragged, LET OTHER TROOPERS GET THE IDEA.

5. i agree to a certain extent...

we used to call people like that "john wayne", not a compliment.

almost as derogatory as "rock" (as in head full of).

he probably was thinking, "if i kill all those people myself, i will get a medal! OUCH!" as he ran ahead of the fire team and probably the entire squad in his vain rush to glory.

at least he didn't get any of his team killed, that i'm aware of.

I don't believe the killing was ordered from on high. I just think that unit had a Bushie true believer in it that couldn't handle Tillman's take on Bush/Iraq.
