Learn. It's funny (and AMAZING)....and SO relevant to what we (the people) face today.

Anyway, more to the point, how come we don't have kick-ass, take-names lobbyists for the important stuff? I suppose we do, but you never really hear about the strong-arm techniques of, say, the Sierra Club. Y'know?

How come we don't have lobbyists for the important stuff? Like "Keep the Great Lakes clean - don't let BP dump mercury and other cr*p in one of the largest bodies of fresh water on the plant - Lake Michigan (20% of the earth's fresh water), for instance.

This world is bizaare.....but is everything just to be bought & sold? Aren't WE worth MORE than that?

YES....we most definitely are. And that's why I'm gonna stand by folks like Mike Gravel, Dennis Kucinich....and there's some other folks too who are trying to 'stay in the balance' of political pressure and 'just common sense'
