that the US Attorney for DC's term is up in September.

Now, unless Bush 'convinces' the USA to step down so he can appoint another boot-licker via recess appointment, the new DC USA will have to go through Senate confirmation.

Maybe the Senate sees that as an opportunity to get a USA in office who won't subvert the law like the current one may do as regards the contempt citations.
