What will the Bush Administration be passing on to the next Administration?
Edited on Sun Jul-22-07 06:57 PM by ck4829
Iraq
Afghanistan
Our shattered image abroad
Our bad economy
Our trade deficit
A Right Wing Judiciary
Friction between the Legislative and Executive Branches
A bloated and overly bureaucratic Department of Homeland Security
And legions of other things too numerous to list

That's why we got to have a President who isn't afraid to pull up his or sleeves and work, 24/7 if necessary.

5. They are also passing on unprecedented power in the executive branch
That's something that I don't understand. Are they really just going to give the next administration, likely Democratic, that kind of power???

6. It's going to take decades to undo the damage ...
... and it's going to take a Democrat in the WH house, along with a Dem majority in the House and Senate.

But thanks to the disaster of the BushCo regime, we will HAVE decades of Democratic control. Bush and his cronies have left a very bad taste in the mouths of all Americans, their own former supporters included.

I know we Americans are often accused of having a short attention span. But NO ONE who has lived through the past six-plus years is going to FORGET it for a long, long time.

11. I hope you are right about that one...
people have a tendency to forget things rather quickly - especially when aided by our lackluster, diversionist media.

12. In most circumstances, I would have to agree.
But just as our parents and grandparents never forgot what life was like during the Depression or WWII, I don't think the present populace will ever forget what life under BushCo was like.

8. Rephrase- will the same corporate tyranny be passed on to yet more corporate tyranny?
Short answer- yes.

And it wont matter, the party affiliation.
No one will take on this historical conglomeration
of corporate interest/power without the multi nationals hand picking them.
Count on it.
