It's a well done expose on the dark vacuum at the core of Guiliani's persona. The guy comes off as nasty, incompetent and dangerous. I was thinking that if he is the Republican nominee and Sen. Obama is ours, it will be the race-baiting campaign he waged against Dinkins all over again.
Ghoul-iani will wrap himself in the flag and say 9/11 9/11 9/11 over and over again. Heck with a potential nominee named Barack Obama..imagine what the pug spin meisters will do..
Once Ghoul-iani begins to wrap himself in the flag there will be no stopping him because 9/11 has become like a religion to many Americans. To question anything about that day is seen as heresy. People who do not believe one word emanating from the lying lips of the Bush administration accept the narrative about 9/11.
I saw a Giuliani 2008 bumper sticker on an SUV a week ago in West St Louis County (a rich area of suburban St Louis).
3. Hoepfully the firefighters will quash the 9/11 myth about Rudey
That's if the media gives them coverage and doesn't pseudo-reality check -- a la Sanjay Gupta and "Sicko" -- their complaints. I don't think any Republican can win the Presidency if all the votes are counted (because of the "13 keys") but Rudey could do a lot of damage along the way regardless. One DUer noted a while back that if Rudey is the nomninee, at least we won't have to deal with a cultural warfare campaign against abortion and gay marriage. I agreed then but I've changed my mind after reading the article.
