He resigned his government post (Lord of the Admiralty), activated his military commission (British Army) and took a spot in the trenches of France.

Can you imagine any NeoCon(Men) doing that? Resigning thier government post and taking a spot in a combat unit in Iraq or Afghanistan?

What is wrong with these people. Are they doing it for money, stripes, stars ... No matter if they get another bar or stripe, it will only mean that they let pissypants walk over them and they allowed tens of thousands people to be killed or maimed at the "pleasure of the president". What could they be getting out of this?
