but it is cloture they want to vote on. And the dems won't let them vote on it because it is pointless. Cloture is to end debate, and the repukes don't want to end debate. So debate, and stop whining.

Lott said earlier that the repukes were ready to vote on Levin/Reed. So Durbin called for a vote on the amendment, and Lott objected. Durbin shot back that you can't have it both ways. Great exchange.
