75. I moved back to PA before this idiot's war and read that rag pretty much

all my life(except when I was in NJ). In early 2002 I had a LTTE published praising the balance of the editorial page. At that time they regularly ran some sane commentary, Molly Ivins especially, but the closer it got to this stupid war, the worse it got. The fact that they're now questioning the sanity of little king George is an indication that the moneyed elite are figuring out that you can't screw the little gut too hard without hurting your own self-interest. It's still the moneyed few against the rest of us.

Everyone's doing fine. I figured out how to get pills into Skid, I wrap him in a towel and hold him on my lap like a baby. You should see him, he looks so cute! The vet gave me prescription low-residue food and a pro-biotic for him today because the meds alone don't seem to be helping the diarrhea. Keep your fingers crossed that this works, if it doesn't they'll have to do an ultrasound to see what's going on.

almost catatonic. He fights when I try to open his mouth if he squirms too much I let him go for a minute then we try again.

153. I hope this works. I was concerned that he wouldn't like the prescription food or the pro-biotic

that I have to sprinkle on it. The vet told me to give him the food first alone to see if he'd eat it - Skid gobbled it up. Then I gave him more food with the stuff on it and he ate that too without a problem. The other kitties aren't going to be happy because I can't leave their food out, but they'll just have to deal with it. Besides they're too fat and shouldn't be eating as much as they do anyway.

We've been on vacation since the 6th, most of the time was spent in St. Ignace, Michigan (in the upper peninsula) and we didn't have Internet access. I had to drive down to the Burger King nad sit in their parking lot to get on! If you haven't been to the U.P or Mackinac Island, I strongly suggest you visit. It's beautiful there. We're in Chicago now for the next few days; we went to the Sears Tower today, we're going to see Wicked tomorrow and then we're going to see the Cubs on Wednesday! Then it's off to Auburn Hills, Mich. for three days. Hope to see some Duers there on Saturday!

About 45% of all foreign militants targeting U.S. troops and Iraqi civilians and security forces are from Saudi Arabia; 15% are from Syria and Lebanon; and 10% are from North Africa, according to official U.S. military figures made available to The Times by the senior officer. Nearly half of the 135 foreigners in U.S. detention facilities in Iraq are Saudis, he said.

I have this battery-powered 'angel-moose.' It plays Christmas carols when 'stimulated.' It's on all the time 'cause it just sits there. Well, when Mike was reading the story of the woman about to be beheaded, it played a Christmas carol.

Don't know what you think, but there was Nothing else going on to make that happen. No earthquake.... no nothing.... it just went off during that story............. YEOW!!!!!
