May have Found Real Reason for Repunks Actions Today
I saw this in The Hill. McConnell will do whatever to get shrub's radical right wing judges confirmed.

McConnell focuses on judges as GOP defines top priorities
By Alexander Bolton
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is signaling to colleagues that he will take a personal and leading role in pressuring Democrats to confirm President Bush’s judicial nominees, an issue that has received little attention since the election.

2. No way that's acceptable.
For what? A non-binding resolution?

Tell me the Democrats won't do this.

6. They don't have to be connected for a deal to be cut
They only have to be subject to Senate votes, which they are. It's called horse trading.

8. Let Them Stay Hung Up!
The voters will see the Republicans for what they are. Don't worry about judgeships. Block Bush's budget. Write their own and let America see how the Democrats feel. The budget won't be veto proof but if you refuse to pass any continuing resolutions they could force it to a head.

7. I hope the dems are smarter than to accept that deal
right now, the GOP are fully responsible for the war which will be a failure.
And giving the GOP conservative judges would continue to feed the conservative voting bloc. The dems should make damn sure the conservative judges don't get in to further alienate the GOP base from the neocons and their current leaders.
