Down at the Gun Shop: "Bush & VP Cheney Are Bastards-They Both Need To Be Impeached"
Down at the Gun Shop: Impeach both the bastards
by Kenevan McConnon
Fri Jul 13, 2007 at 02:53:31 PM PDT

I'm leaving to go camping, but I thought the folks that have been following the changes in the customers' attitudes down at the gunshop would be intrested to know that the concensus of the six white men at the gunshop today is that the best handgun round is a either .45 ACP or the .38 Super and the best rifle round is either a 150 grain .308 or 155 grain .30 06. In addition, we ALL agreed that President Bush and Vice president Cheney are bastards, they both need to be impeached, and Democrats are bunch of gutless pukes for not getting the job done.

We have NEVER had a clear majority in favor of impeachment down at the gun shop. When the wireless wiretapping broke in '05, we had a few of the hard core libertarian shooters that wanted him impeached, but it is game over as of today. The next time the Republicans go back to their districts in Colorado they will be hearing from THEIR constituents that the bastards need to be impeached. I have never seen some of the guys expressing disgust as vituperatively as they were today. Maybe the 4th woke people up; I don't know, but if you have 100% agreement down at the Gunshop on anything you know the wave must be coming. First, life long Republicans are voting for the first Democrat in '06, and a random sample of gun shop customers ALL want Bush and Cheney impeached. Are they really all members of the NRA? And they want to impeach Bush? Hell has frozen oven, and it puts a smile on my face.

I'm going to go get lost in the woods.

7. Not really
After 9/11, I was in an army surplus store, buying feathers (the kind fishermen use) for some jewelry I was making.

In the back of the store, I overheard several men in the "gun" department talking about loading up on guns and ammo. I wheeled back there and asked, Are you afraid of terrorists?.

Almost in unison they said, hell no! It's the government we're afraid of.

8. I agree it's not unusual for a gun store - And go have a beer at a VFW hall some time
If you want to hear some REAL anti-Bush sentiments.

9. But ask if they'd support Bill Richardson vs. Rudy McRomney
You might be pleasantly surprised.

5. go back to the store and tell them to call their senators
theres a vote on withdrawal that the GOP is likely to filibuster.
Make the gunlovers make clear that they want the troops coming home and the bastards impeached

10. This is the sixth impeachment thread to which I have given a K&R
The more the merrier. Tell your friends and family. Impeachment. Its time.
