3. From the Plain Dealer:
Edited on Tue Jul-10-07 12:32 PM by cmd
President Bush, in a tease to comments he will make this afternoon in another part of Cuyahoga County, indicated a few minutes ago that he will resist calls by Congress members to begin drawing down troops in Iraq soon.

"Troop levels will be decided by commanders on the ground, not political figures in Washington," Bush said outside of GrafTech International, a Parma company that is researching ways to make smaller and less expensive fuel cells that could someday power American's cars.

another snip:
Referring to his next scheduled stop -- the Cleveland Clinic, to discuss the use of technology in improving patient care -- Bush again made clear his disagreement with some in Washington, including Democrats seeking a bigger role for government in delivering health care. "We need a system that is patient driven," he said. "I will resist the idea of the federal government running the health system."

25. Does he really think the current system is patient driven?
It's profit driven, for heaven's sake, and doctors and patients are both looked upon by insurance companies as expensive nuciences!

4. Gee thanks I wouldn't want to miss it!!
Yesterday his speech was awful! I get so hung up on listening to the delivery I don't always listen to what he's trying to say. I wish the man would learn to pronouce the word "to" and not say "tah"....it's a little thing but it drives me nuts.

I suppose he's going to tell us about all the successes in Iraq......again! Thanks for the heads up.

9. He has made Iraq speeches from there before
I know because Kerry went to the same exact place to say how wrong Bush had been, how he'd lied to us when he said war would be a last resort.

11. Piss on him

I hope his speech writers limited the words in the address to two syllables. That way maybe he won't screw up so much.

They would have been ordered to attend. That's the only way Dumbya can get an audience these days.

24. Also, before I turned this off in disgust
MSNBC was running a banner across the bottom of the sreen saying Bush wants to federalize healthcare. Right before that, he was decrying "federalized healthcare." So they're trying to make it seem like he has a program and wants to do something about healthcare. Anyone who thinks the corporate media has stopeed shilling for chimp is gravely mistaken. They will flat out lie for him to this day.
